1. Special Container Selection & Engineering Assessment

Heavy-lift equipment cannot fit into standard containers. Each shipment requires matching to the right container type based on dimensions, weight, center of gravity, and physical profile. We provide selection assessments for each consignment:

2. Professional Lashing Plan Design & Approval

For single pieces exceeding 10 tons, we coordinate with professional engineers to produce custom lashing plans covering:

  • Force analysis: Based on cargo weight, center of gravity, and anticipated accelerations during the voyage (longitudinal, transverse, and vertical directions) to calculate the required securing forces in each direction.
  • Lashing point planning: Identifying the number, location, and rated capacity of lashing points on both the cargo body and the container floor.
  • Securing equipment specification: Determining chain lashings, wire ropes, and turnbuckles, with MSL (Maximum Securing Load) to calculated force ratio of at least 1.5x safety factor, in accordance with the IMO Code of Safe Practice for Cargo Stowage and Securing (CSS Code).
  • Anti-slip measures: High-friction coefficient anti-slip matting between cargo and container floor to increase friction and reduce dependency on securing equipment.
  • Weather protection: Waterproof tarpaulin covering for ocean spray protection, desiccants for humidity control.

The lashing plan is submitted to the shipping line for approval before loading operations begin, significantly reducing the risk of port rejection or rework demands.
