Back to Project Cargo Services
Background
Molang Electric and other Chinese power equipment manufacturers export transformers, switchgear, turbine components, and electrical control systems to utilities and industrial customers worldwide. A typical shipment involves hundreds of individual crates — each containing equipment weighing 9 tons or more — shipped across multiple containers on multiple vessels. Every crate must arrive at the destination in perfect condition, with 100% inventory accuracy against the packing list.
The stakes are exceptionally high: a single missing crate can delay an entire power station commissioning schedule by weeks. A moisture-damaged transformer can mean six-figure replacement costs and months of manufacturing lead time. The logistics operation must be flawless — there is no "acceptable error rate" in power equipment shipping.
Our Solution: Industrial-Grade Export Packaging & Control
Custom Heavy-Duty Crating Engineering
Standard export crates are not designed for 9+ ton electrical equipment with irregular shapes and high centers of gravity. Our crating solution is engineered, not catalog-selected:
- Reinforced base frames with steel cross-members rated for the specific cargo weight and load distribution. Each crate base is stamped with its load rating and tare weight.
- Internal steel bracing engineered to lock the equipment in position — preventing any movement in any axis during transport and handling.
- Load-distributing cushioning at all contact points between the equipment and the crate structure. Prevents point-loading that could damage both the crate and the equipment.
- Each crate is designed for its specific cargo — center of gravity marked, lifting points indicated, orientation arrows painted on all four sides.
Vacuum Packaging with Moisture Protection
Electrical equipment is fundamentally incompatible with moisture. Even ambient humidity during a 30-day ocean voyage can cause corrosion on contact surfaces and degrade insulation materials. We apply:
- Industrial-grade barrier film vacuum-sealed around critical components. This is the same class of material used for military equipment long-term storage.
- Desiccant inserts calculated by volume — not just "a few bags thrown in." The quantity is determined by the sealed volume and the expected transit duration plus 50% safety margin.
- Humidity indicator cards placed inside the seal, visible through the barrier film. Provides indisputable proof that the equipment stayed dry throughout transit.

Batch Management System — Triple Verification
When hundreds of crates ship across multiple containers on multiple vessels, the packing list is the single source of truth. Our system ensures it is never wrong:
- Verification #1 — Factory Loading: Every crate assigned a unique batch number. Crate number, equipment serial number, and destination are cross-checked against the packing list at the factory before the truck leaves.
- Verification #2 — Port Consolidation: When crates arrive at our consolidation warehouse, each is scanned and verified against the master packing list. Discrepancies are flagged and resolved before container loading begins.
- Verification #3 — Container Loading: During container stuffing, each crate's batch number is recorded against its container number. Each container gets its own sub-manifest, cross-referenced to the master packing list.
- Customs documentation is generated directly from the triple-verified packing list — ensuring zero discrepancies between what's declared and what's physically in the containers.
Flexible Delivery Terms
We offer port-to-port (FOB/CIF) for customers with their own destination agents, and door-to-door (DAP/DDP) for customers who want a single point of accountability. Our destination agent network covers all major global ports and industrial regions.
